Abstract

This article presents the conceptual framework proposed for the software metaprocess, where the management, structuring and innovation are detailed as processes that in turn shape the metaprocess. It highlights not only the work flow where software development processes are traditionally focused on, but also emphasizes the key variables that affect the processes and define the software development process itself as a case study. The observation of processes from a higher level creates roles and emerging knowledge around them, forming a stronger tool to address software development.
