Abstract

Manufacturing drawings are specialized documents that combine geometric and non geometric information of parts and components for a specific purpose. Usually the planes have been used to manufacture the interpretation of the information and generate the manufacturing planning of a piece. No attempt has been made to systematize the information through algebraic structures. This article presents a systematization of manufacturing drawings. It develops a classification which determines special classes of the manufacturing drawings and over this class demonstrate the existence of a Boolean algebra. The systematization made to the manufacturing drawings in terms of an algebraic structure, will enhance the applications in the construction of models related to the geometric information and manufacturing of parts and components.
