Abstract

This article shows the production process of a quarry, identifies the source of shortages, identifies indicators of control and simulate the loss for the process using computational tools. It makes the material balance, identifies the sources of shrinkage, the indicators are constructed and used a simulation model of the production process of the quarry, in order to optimize the process of obtaining building materials from the experimental data from a processing plant located west of the city of Lima. Building materials are critical to the development of any society and these resources are not easily found, their availability is restricted mainly by technical problems, the construction materials of good quality are found in inaccessible sites and the increasing pressure on jurisdiction of land use, this makes the extraction of construction materials is restricted or prohibited in some cases. To ensure availability of our future needs of building and construction is essential to identify potential sources of construction materials. The main objectives are to model the losses generated, unit operations of the plant, using software.
