Abstract

In Colombia, the area of knowledge known as Engineering, Architecture, Planning and Related is the one with the highest levels of dropout, reaching values above 50% as reported by the Ministry of Education. Fitted Curricula in which each student, according to his strengths and weaknesses, has its own process of training, become an interesting alternative to reduce the academical dropout rate. This article presents the results obtained using this concept in a specific program of Industrial Engineering in Colombia.
