Abstract
The main objective of this research was to develop a technology solution that helps keep track of the progress of the project running in the department of planning and control of the company Oriconsult, CA, and these in turn is associated with the generation reporting and the creation of communications, in order to obtain the information in one place, share it with the personnel involved, and reduce the time and effort spent in executing these activities. The research is of a projective design with mixed sources, it covers both live and documentary sources. The techniques of data collection were document review, direct observation and unstructured interview, relying on instruments: analysis matrix, checklist and notebook. To achieve the proposed objectives was implemented the first three phases of software development methodology RUP with the help of Unified Modeling Language UML. Likewise, we obtained the model of the new system and architecture proposed faults detected, ensuring significant savings of time, effort and money produced by the department.

El objetivo principal de esta investigación consistió en desarrollar una solución tecnológica que permita el control de los avances de los proyectos que se ejecutan en el Departamento de Panificación y Control de la empresa Oriconsult, C.A, y estos a su vez, están asociada a la generación de reportes y la creación de comunicados, con la finalidad de obtener la información en un solo lugar, compartirla con el personal involucrado, y reducir el tiempo y esfuerzo que invierten en ejecutar dichas actividades. El tipo de investigación es de carácter proyectiva, con un diseño de fuente mixta, pues abarca tanto fuentes vivas como documentales. Las técnicas de recolección de datos fueron la revisión documental, la observación directa y la entrevista no estructurada, apoyándose en los instrumentos: matriz de análisis, lista de cotejo y libreta de notas. Para el logro de los objetivos propuestos se implementó las tres primeras fases de la metodología de desarrollo de software RUP con la ayuda del lenguaje unificado de modelado UML. Así mismo, se obtuvo el modelo del nuevo sistema y la arquitectura propuesta a las fallas detectadas, garantizando ahorros significativos de tiempo, esfuerzo y dinero producido por el departamento.
