Abstract:

The life style of people can change in time because the social and economic factors. For instance, in North Lima the improvement of the local economy, it would be translate as the improvement of incomes per family. This would affect the habits of nutrition with a straight impact on children whom are going to acquire resources for buying foods enriched with fat and sugars. In this paper, we center in the expected role of the professional of Nurse, which is actually the one to make continuous control of the glucose values. Clearly, the presence of this professional in primary schools would have important effects in the improvement of the human group composed by children. Moreover, a school-based health professional would attenuate the possible cases of obesity and effects perceived as depression and with an early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.
