Call for Papers
The conference is accepting papers in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French related to three main tracks: Engineering Education, Engineering Technology and Engineering Practice.

Abstracts Submissions
Authors wishing to present a paper in the conference must submit in advance, as a requirement for acceptance, a 300 words length abstract electronically through the conference website.

· Notification of abstract acceptance: Febuary 17, 2007
(for submissions received after January 15, 2007)

· Submission of full-length draft paper for review:

· Notification of paper acceptance: March 15, 2007
· Submission of Copyright form: March 31, 2007
· Submission of final paper: April 15, 2007


TYPES OF PAPERS:

The conference will be accepting different types of articles for presentations.

· Refereed Paper:
It is a full length, peer reviewed paper that will be presented in the conference and published in the conference proceeding. The work must be original, and has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a lecture or thesis). Authors are required to submit the copyright form. Maximum length is 10 pages using the paper guidelines for the conference. Excellent refereed papers might be invited for publication in the LACCEI journal.

· Presentation Paper:
A presentation paper is an extended abstract which is accepted for presentation only in the conference; it will not be published in the conference proceeding but will be published in the conference memories. An extended abstract has a length of 2 pages using the extended abstract guidelines for the conference.

Note: Both types of papers required a submission of an abstract for consideration. Authors must specify the type of paper when submitting the abstract.
