REFEREED PAPERS INSTRUCTIONS

DESCRIPTION

• Maximum 10 pages following this example format: TEMPLATE FILE
• Undergo a double-blind review by multiple persons in the technical committee
• Requires a FULL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION of at least one author by the Early Registration Deadline
• Will be published as a fully refereed paper in the proceedings with ISBN and archived online with free public access
• Selected engineering education papers will be invited to expand and submit to LACCEI Journal

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Papers are accepted in PDF, DOC or DOCX formats
2. Use this TEMPLATE FILE for full-length papers. PAPERS NOT COMPLYING WITH THE REQUIRED FORMAT WILL BE REJECTED. Save this complete version.
3. Papers will undergo a double-blind review process, so create another version without the authors name and affiliation in DOC, DOCX or PDF format for the initial submission paper
4. Go to the submission site to enter the paper and author information: http://laccei2012panama.org.pa/openconf/openconf.php
5. Upload the paper version WITHOUT AUTHOR INFORMATION
6. Please save the id/password assigned which will be needed later to access to upload the final paper.
7. Your submission will be either:
   1. Returned for problems with formatting (resubmit corrected version with same id number)
   2. Accepted as refereed paper
   3. Conditionally accepted as refereed paper pending suggested changes
   4. Rejected as full paper, you are encouraged to redo and submit as extended abstract
8. If accepted: register for conference and submit final paper with author information by deadline. If rejected and wish to submit as extended abstract you need to follow the extended abstract instructions and submit as new submission in the extended abstract submission site, there will be an extension to the submission deadline.

IMPORTANT DATES

The deadine for submission is March 16, 2012.
Authors will be notified of acceptance by April 9, 2012.
The deadline for submitting final, camera-ready papers is April 30, 2012.
Author Registration deadline is May 31, 2012.

• Someterse a una revisión double-blind por varias personas en el comité técnico
• Requiere de un REGISTRO COMPLETO A LA CONFERENCIA de al menos un autor por el plazo de inscripción anticipada
• Será publicado como un documento totalmente arbitrados en el proceso con ISBN y archivado en línea con acceso público y gratuito
• Selección de documentos de enseñanza de la ingeniería serán invitados a ampliar y someterse al Journal de LACCEI

INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA PRESENTACIÓN:

1. Se aceptarán originales en formatos PDF, DOC o DOCX
2. Use este ARCHIVO PLANTILLA para  artículos completos. TRABAJOS QUE NO CUMPLAN CON EL FORMATO ESTABLECIDO SERAN RECHAZADOS.
3. Los  artículos serán sometidos a un proceso de revisión doblemente anónima, crear otra versión sin el nombre del autor y la afiliación en formato DOC, DOCX o en formato PDF para la entrega inicial
4. Ir al siguiente link para someter su artículo y poner la información del autor: http://laccei2012panama.org.pa/openconf/openconf.php
5. Subir la versión del artículo SIN INFORMACIÓN DEL AUTOR
6. Por favor, guarde el id/contraseña asignada que será necesario para someter el la versión final artículo
7. Su presentación será:
   1. Devuelto por problemas con el formato (vuelva a enviar la versión corregida con el mismo número de identificación)
   2. Aceptado como un artículo completo
   3. Aceptado condicionalmente como  un artículo completo con cambios pendientes
   4. Rechazado como un artículo completo, pero puede rehacerlo y someterlo como un resumen extendido
8. Si aceptado: registrarse para la conferencia y someter el artículo final con la información del autor antes de la fecha límite. Si es rechazado y desea presentar como resumen extendido, es necesario seguir las instrucciones para abstractos extendidos y presentar como un nuevo envío en el sitio de resúmenes extendidos, tendrá una extensión para la fecha límite.

FECHAS IMPORTANTES

La fecha límite para entregar trabajos es el 16 de Marzo, 2012.
Se notificará la aceptación de artículos el 9 de Abril, 2012.
La fecha límite para entregar TRABAJOS FINALES es el 30 de Abril, 2012.
La fecha límite para la registración de autores es el 31 de Mayo, 2012.
