Universidad del Norte accredits all the engineering programs by ABET, Inc

On August 26,2010 the Universidad del Norte(UniNorte) in Barranquilla Colombia received the official notice by the Commission of Engineering  Accreditation ABET Inc, the notice accredits for the maximun six years all UniNorte's engineering programs: Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical and Computer Science  

This accomplishment is a very important achievement in Colombia because the Universidad del Norte is the only university in the country that has passed through the rigorous and exhaustive revision of quality and academic excellence in the education of engineers. The accreditation is a product of the continuous improvement of the curriculum in every program. LACCEI congratulates the faculty,administration staff and students of UniNorte for this significant achivement. Special congratulations goes to the leadership of UniNorte's Dean Mag.
